Eisenlauer Named to Turning Point Board
October 13, 2023 - Conversate Labs is pleased to announce its owner, Abbey Eisenlauer, has been elected to the Board of Directors at Turning Point. A non-profit organization providing comprehensive domestic violence services to women, families, and children for more than 40 years, Turning Point has experienced growth in McHenry County and was looking for Board expertise to help tell their story. “We have all seen the devastating impacts of the pandemic over the last few years and Turning Point needs our help now more than ever. I hope others will join us in meeting the needs of our community and supporting the school programs that inform our children and teens about healthy relationships,” said Eisenlauer.
Did you know that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will experience some form of domestic violence in their lifetime?
Eisenlauer was elected to help implement the organization’s Strategic Plan and raise awareness about its services. Turning Point recently announced its new brand and focus on community outreach. Eisenlauer will serve as the Committee Chair for Donor Outreach & Marketing. For help or additional information, the 24/7 hotline (815) 338-8081 for text or calls, or you can online chat with us.
“It was my Grandma and Mom who taught me the importance of being an active part of your community. I look forward to raising awareness of Turning Point’s impactful services in McHenry County.” ~ Abbey Eisenlauer
